I installed this 16GB microSD card in my Samsung Android smartphone and am happy to report that it works great. I just (1) turned off my smartphone; (2) opened the MicroSD tray with the tool provided by Samsung (a paperclip can be inserted into the hole to release the tray if you lose the tool: press hard!); (3) Carefully insert the MicroSD card into the tray in the correct orientation and position; (4) Slide the tray back into the phone case; and (5) turned the phone back on. When the phone booted up, the new microSD card was visible in the files system app. I have confirmed the write, read and erase functions. No complaints! This microSD card can also be used as a memory card (USB flash drive) when using the included 3-in-1 USB reader. I have tested and confirmed this feature.
