My 9 pound, 11-year old Shih Tzu is starting to have some incontinence issues. I bought these thinking they would be practical as well as adorable. Unfortunately, this is not the case. They have very little absorbency and are far from leak proof. Even a small accident soaks through the diaper and on to the surface she’s laying on. I have bought inserts to help counteract this issue. I would not recommend buying these unless you plan to invest in inserts to allow them to serve their purpose. Also, they do not wash well. After one wash, they look faded and snagged easily. The fabric is not durable for a pet product that will require washing after each use.
