Before I get to the heart of this review, I would like to say that I have had to return and re-order this chair twice due to poor construction. All three times I received it, it was broken upon delivery. The mesh back popped out completely every time I sat in it for the first time. I ended up canceling the reorder. I'm 6ft 3in and 200lbs so I'm not too heavy. Now after a year of owning this chair the poor build quality and terrible durability have become even more apparent. The armrests fall apart although I don't use them often, the mesh backrest is almost ruined, and worst of all (and the main reason I'm writing this), the backrest no longer stays upright. Even the slightest recline pressure will cause the back to recline fully when it should be locked. Everything is fine when watching movies because I still recline, but when playing games it became extremely uncomfortable. I might as well be sitting on a bar stool because I can't rest at all. I will never buy a respawn chair again. My friend had another model, the one with the retractable footrest, and the footrest broke in half the first time he sat on it. I honestly don't know how Respawn still manages how badly designed their chairs are.
