Wasn't sure I would like this one mug as I've had a few I have other screens that I've enjoyed using. I actually found it very convenient. The filter basket is very nice and works well - catches almost all of my small loose teas - leaves very little dirt in the cup. The lid works as a good strainer when done. The cup gets warm but not too hot even if you pour boiling water into it. The mug is machine washable and the strainer must be hand washed.
