These cables are used to add security/reversing cameras to an RV. The cables for each signal (power and video) are about 3mm thick, or just under 1/8 inch. They are connected together in the middle, like a speaker wire or a lamp wire. Although I would have preferred a slightly thicker cable shield, these work well for my setup. I added a backup camera that looks out of the RV more like a rear view mirror than a camera looking down as a backup (already installed). This required operation a cable at the back of the bus (not a problem as I had easy access since the engine was in the back) and then down 40 feet to get it up behind my dash. I had free entries in my monitor for the 4th camera I'm not sure about the durability, therefore 4 instead of 5 stars for the thickness. I tied the wire with a cord to hold it in place and reduce the potential for friction. The second cable is my spare in case of a problem. I've installed a rear backup camera with a similar cable for a number of years and haven't had any problems so I don't expect any issues with these cables. I think these cables are perfectly suitable for internal laying in the attic or in the basement. The ends are encased in a molded plastic case that is easy to grab and connect. All in all, a simple purchase recommendation.
