I have three small window air conditioners and it's difficult to close them from the outside, so in the past I covered them with plastic from the inside to keep the cold air outside in the winter keep . These cases are much easier to use and work great so far. When I first opened the package I wasn't impressed; The item looked too thin. But actually there are TWO covers. One is a soft plastic cover that fits right over the air conditioner and appears to keep cold air out. Another quilted piece covering the plastic. Together they do a good job. They look decent too, much better than plastic and of course reusable. I'm glad I bought them.
