This is my second pair. As a performer, I use them on holidays. A charge typically takes three hours and there are many different color combinations to choose from. Be careful not to overload them. I ruined one of my first shoes by leaving it on the charger for a few days. The instructions say it takes about two hours to charge, but I set a timer (BN-LINK Smart Digital Countdown Timer with Snooze) to charge for four to four hours and then turn off. So far, so good.
