The light is quite bright and does the job adequately. one less excuse (many of my friends work nights). I kept one for myself and tried it. I already have a spotlight from another brand that costs about $10, so my experience is comparable to this one. (I left pink. I see other reviews note a difference in brightness between colors, pink is listed as one of the brightest.) This brand, a four-pack, isn't as good as $10. one as one would expect. Here's how: * The light isn't that bright. I mean, it's (pink) bright *enough*, but I feel safer with another brand. - both tested at dawn in fog) * The outer fabric does not have reflective strips like the more expensive ones. * The bracelet doesn't roll quite as smoothly, so it's a bit awkward to wear over your arm. I'd say for parties, raves, camping, as spare or "guest" lanterns, or gifts to friends who never got them use, I would say that this pack is perfect. For the one person who finds himself walking down the street in the dark or twilight a few times a week, I would suggest treating yourself to a more expensive brand.
