The ring light is small and light, which makes it very portable. I love the fact that you can change the brightness and color, which makes it versatile for more than just selfies, and I've used it to light background photos from top to bottom by mounting it on a tripod and through the middle have recorded. If you need it to take selfies or portraits, it works great and comes with a phone holder. I have a Note 9 (pictured) but I'd say that's the maximum that fits without blocking some of the light. I haven't tried the wireless remote, but I found it to be a handy feature. It took me a minute to figure it out, but at least on mine, I have to press the power button twice to turn it off or remove power.
