My kids have recently become addicted to dolls but they didn't have enough space to sleep so these beds were perfect. They are very high quality, like everything from Melissa and Doug, with no roughness or lack of color. They require assembly but it was really easy and straightforward. You will need a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the 8 screws on each bed. These beds can be used individually or together as bunk beds by simply stacking them on top of each other. I wish the beds were better attached to each other so the top one doesn't easily detach from the bottom one when lifting. There's also an optional ladder you can use in bunk mode, which I'd also like to hook up a bit better, but it does the job. These beds also come with linens, which are really cute and relatively gender-neutral. These beds are perfect for all dolls 18" and under.
