So I wore and owned Timberland over 20 years ago when they only made Black and Wheat. I've used them for work and play and have had no complaints. I've been to heavy construction sites where people have claimed that other well-known brands of boots are better. after years of using the pair for construction work they are finally starting to wear out. They are still serviceable but have had so much abuse that I decided to get a new pair. but foolishly, before just buying the same Timberland boots, I decided to try other brands that cost less than $160. Every pair, including the Timberland PRO series, hurt their toes and didn't provide much-needed ankle support. I've tried Timberland Pro, Nike boots, Sketchers work boots, Adidas tactical boots and a few others. everything fail. Finally I said why I bother at all. Timberland has always been into this style and I got lucky as most stores don't sell half sizes and the color I bought was on sale. I will never buy another brand of shoes again.
