Review on Merrick Grain-Free Canned Wet Dog Food (Case of 12) - All Breed Sizes by Renee Stahl

Over the past month I have purchased food for my puppy from either Petco or PetSmart. I saw that Revain was cheaper and placed an order without looking at the reviews because I trusted the brand as I've never had a quality issue with the lenses I've bought before. When I received my order I was very excited as this is my pup's favorite food. I open the can and immediately notice the difference. It didn't smell, the glass wasn't filled to the brim, the meat looked pale and my puppy didn't even lick the food let alone eat it. I was completely shocked because I know what these cans must look like. I immediately look at the reviews and see that this is a common problem. Just to prove my point I went to PetSmart and bought 4 cans of them (all they had in stock) to compare to the cans I bought from Revain. The PetSmart jar was full to the top, dark in color, smelled very meaty and my puppy ate this food. Please pay special attention to the quality when you buy this food, you don't want your pet to get sick because the company has very big quality control problems. I'll start looking for another brand, after that I can't trust Merrick anymore!
