Expensive and a bit inconsistent but still good food.

This is a good alternative to Whole Earth Hearty Beef Stew I fed my dog. Although I think it's the same, just more expensive. I think Merrick planned it so they could rebrand the food and sell it for more. Anyway, my dog loves it and he doesn't get the breath smell like a grain-free backcountry. That thing smells rotten. The only bad thing about Merrick is that their food is very inconsistent. Some jars are watery, some are hard, some have too many veggies, some don't, some jars aren't even…

Disappointed with Merrick

I have used Merrick exclusively for many years. Our dogs particularly enjoyed the wingaling. Then bad glasses began to come to us, both in color and smell. I contacted Merrick. They said they knew and were confident the product was good and safe. He suggested trying other flavors. A month later no change. I called again. Again they said they were aware and fixed it, and blah blah quality control. I can gather from the reviews that this has been a constant quality issue for many months and this…

Dog's favorite flavor but expensive - $9 per day

Expensive, like most grain-free cans, but Merricks has good, wholesome ingredients, but it's a lot of waste water. When we feed canned food, Grammy's Pot Pie is our dog's favorite variety. We usually eat raw (K-9 Kravings) and have a few cans of Merrick on hand in case we run out of raw K-9 Kravings and can't reach local retailers 45-60 minutes away. (or both left). If you use. These are canned foods, we end up saving on quantity - they're high in moisture (water) and for our 50 lb dog, the…

Low quality! About Dogs

Over the past month I have purchased food for my puppy from either Petco or PetSmart. I saw that Revain was cheaper and placed an order without looking at the reviews because I trusted the brand as I've never had a quality issue with the lenses I've bought before. When I received my order I was very excited as this is my pup's favorite food. I open the can and immediately notice the difference. It didn't smell, the glass wasn't filled to the brim, the meat looked pale and my puppy didn't even…

You pay your money, you risk

I have bought a box of Wingalings from Revain several times when the food in each of the cans smelled very sour. There was also a difference in the appearance of the food in and out of the can. When I opened the bad jars, the food was on the bottom and the "sauce" was dull in color. I photographed food from one such jar and food from another jar from another case. I think the photos speak for themselves. Too bad they don't scratch or sniff, but the photos tell the story. Merrick appears to have
