🏷️ Nordic Pure 20X25X5 Pleated Replacement Filter Review

Air conditioning filter. Filter unmarked. Can't tell if this is the correct MERV rating. When first ordering, the filters were marked on the filter.

Installed in July. Got the service today. (October) Technician easily said another 3 months for this filter! (I had a second one if needed.) That's with two people and two dogs! I will buy again

I bought this brand instead of the Trion brand because of the crazy price. This is the correct size although there is some play with the actual 4 3/8 depth. All in all we had no problems once the door closed behind her.

We use these but they don't quite fit. The ones we got out of our oven were 20x25x5 filters. These don't fit in our oven despite claiming to be the same size (even slightly smaller). Do they protrude just enough to prevent the filter door from closing? Strange.

Size a little small. Most airboxes now use a gasket around the filter to maximize efficiency. Most of the other brands I've used came with the material or came pre-installed. It only took $3 for a self-adhesive gasket and 5 minutes. But the details are important.

As someone else said, filters are not marked so there is no way of knowing for sure if you are getting the correct MERV. I tried to write to the company but no reply. Also all my other filters had 2 foam strips at the top and bottom. I'm assuming air is going through the filter, not above or below it. It's not like this.

Fits exactly like my Lennox. I have bought this brand before and was just as happy, although it was the same size it was a bit big. Then Lennox noticed it and it fit like a glove. Use them in place of Lennox Merv 16 filters, which are changed once a year. I change 2-3 times a year depending on usage. My fan is clean so I think they work pretty well. I've been using this brand for 4 years. Too bad they didn't provide a 16 Merv in my size.

I expected to receive the item I paid for. The box came in an Amazon box, when I got it the Scandinavian box was already open. This box had no markings other than generic Scandinavian, no MERV rating information (space for it), part number etc. I pulled the filter out, it was a regular white not blue filter with a MERV rating on it. As far as I know, this filter has the lowest rating, which is why I paid $$ for junk. I will never buy from them again. I will buy from Lennox, at least I know what

The filter arrived on time. However, the box was previously opened on both sides. There is no marking on the filter itself that could determine the MERV rating. The box it came in was MERV 12. Who knows the actual rating of the filter itself. I use it now. I'll see if it filters anything. I'm sure the filter manufacturer sent the original filter in a sealed box. I think what happened is that Revain sent me a previously sold filter that didn't fit in their filter housing instead of a new filter…

Charcoal Filter is the only way to breathe properly. We also use a UV fan and immediately noticed a difference when we first installed this product in our home. These filters need to be replaced more frequently due to the amount of kitchen odors, smoke from pizza baking, pets, even our stomach gases are now an ozone problem that creates greenhouse gases, not to mention the bad odors locked into that one investment.
