I have chronic shin splints (exacerbations within 5 minutes of walking, not even running). I've only used them 4-5 times but they work! I honestly wasn't expecting it but wow these little bands do what they say. I'll wear it while they work! Pay attention to the size - I ordered a large one as my lower legs are large (19 inches at the widest point). If you have big shins you won't think they fit when you first put them on but trust me the strap will stretch just enough just give it a good tug - it will be snug but that's it , what you need ! Each time it gets easier to put on. One final note if you need one for each foot you will need to buy two, there is only one in the package (luckily I read the other reviews before ordering so I knew so I'm just passing this along)
