Excellent quality plastic.

Like. This is a very high quality protective film. Installation was easy thanks to the use of gentle plastic and glue. Unlike some other screen protectors I've used, this one is forgiving of a bit of dust particles if you clean the screen well. Bubbles are easily squeezed out and the protective coating traps the smallest dust particles and minimizes small bubbles. Other protectors I've tried kick up dust particles and create big bubbles that keep coming back. IT actually seals on tiny dust and eliminates bubbles by itself. The dust is still there, but it's hard to see. Great. After installation, the screen has a slightly grainy matte quality. Retinal resolution is still there, but some of the brightness and color vibrancy is lost. Technically I think all the brightness is still there but diffused. Glare is SIGNIFICANTLY reduced though, so overall it's a win. I can finally use my iPad outdoors and in bright, direct light! If you look very closely you will see that the light is refracted (not reflected but refracted-bent) so the R/B/G of each pixel is slightly separated. If you're looking for P3 pixel-level color accuracy, this may not be for you. When drawing, the Apple Pencil really feels like paper. The protector makes your screen a bit thicker, so the stylus is actually less sensitive to touches with the slightest pressure. It lets you realize how unnaturally smooth and responsive the Apple Pencil was. Friction really helps with control, so now when you stop the pen will stop. No more slipping around. If you write a lot, your hands may tire more quickly because of the extra resistance. One annoyance is that moving the stylus across the screen very quickly, since you can paint a large area with crayon, makes a squeaky noise. Touch sensitivity appears to be normal. Finger swiping is now similar to swiping a sketchbook. I like it, but it might bother you if you're playing some kind of game that requires a lot of quick swiping. A huge bonus I wasn't expecting: no more finger stains! I hope that the friction lasts a long time and I also hope that the spring does not wear out too quickly.
