They were more expensive than some of the other Sonos wall mounts, but I thought the components were metal so I thought they were worth the price. The Sonos speakers are so heavy that I found it more convenient not to use plastic. Well, too bad all the parts that fit the Sonos Play 1 are plastic. The parts I didn't use were all metal and that's my biggest complaint. This mounting kit is designed to mount many different Sonos speakers so you are paying for an incredible amount of waste. It seems obscene not only to pay for all this, but also to throw away 3/4 of what's in the box. It was really annoying that the actual clips - all I used - were plastic. Grrrrr ALL the parts I threw away were metal. can i say it again ALL the parts were metal and I paid a lot of money for PLASTIC. Even if you have a different type of speaker, the actual bracket that holds all the different speakers is plastic. So you can't run away from there.
