I have many grandchildren and I have a diaper bag for each of them, which I always fill with baby things, and all the bags hang in my children's closet. This allows me to quickly and easily access that particular child's items while that child is in my care! Considering that I will have plenty of time to care for both a newborn and an older one, this bag comes in very handy! If the older one wants to play outside, I take the baby bag, get it out and set up the bassinet. I can then change the baby's diaper or dress it while it sleeps, leaving my hands free to play with the bigger one! When I take one of my grandchildren to their prom, I set up the bassinet so I can put it in when the baby is sleeping and my hand doesn't go numb from holding the sleeping baby in it for over an hour. lol. The bassinet part isn't very strong, but it's a diaper bag that converts into a bassinet, so you can't expect it to be. It's sturdy enough to serve its purpose well! There is enough space in the bag to pack everything I need! This bag is neutral so makes a great baby shower gift as it suits both boys and girls!
