I love this little meal planner book. It does only have 49.5 weeks out of a 52 week year, which is kind of odd, but overall nothing I can't deal with for a great little book. It's a super simple concept, but it's executed nicely. Plus, it's a great value at just $10.The book has plastic covers on the front and back which is great for planning in the kitchen. I can't just offhand always recall what I have bought up, so it's nice to be able to take my book, place on the counter, and not worry about stray water or something getting on the pages.It's really a simple layout, but it works for me. The pages have super basic info, and I like that. I don't plan huge meals or multiple things each meal, and the four lines is plenty for me to take notes on per item. There's a segment for breakfast, lunch, dinenr, and snacks as well as a place to write what it needed from the grocery store, what needs pre-prepped, and anything leftover in the house that needs used up. On the bottom there's notes to try to make sure you get a good mix of produce, grains, and proteins as well as a chart for assigning chores.Each week has Monday through Friday as well as a large line for a shopping list so you can write out the list and tick boxes off. It has a place for dates, too. I actually really like the date part because I can always write in dates or skip weeks if I go on vacation or something and don't want to keep excellent notes. If a person planned out a week, it could be pretty easy to recycle the meals for the week, too, just by flipping back through the planner.It's a simple design, but I like it and it works for me. It's an added bonus that these come from a Veteran owned company and are made in the USA.
