Why are there so many stupid reviews about this wonderful product?

I'm not a fan of reviews but after reading loads of stupid reviews (like who decides to bake potatoes in a rice cooker or who gets confused reading simple instructions?) almost put me off buying this product, I decided to write one in hopes that you will find it and that it will help you decide whether or not to buy it. I'm a simple guy who cooks rice horribly and has to regularly support a family of 6 (aside from the occasional guest who pops up unexpectedly). This rice cooker is fantastic and I wonder why I waited so long to buy one. Sure, you could get better at spending a few hundred bucks on a model, but for what she does, she does it well. Cooking rice for that many people takes about 35 minutes. Yes, you can cook it faster by doing it the old-fashioned way, but I find it very convenient to put the rice in first and just forget about it while I cook the rest of the meal. This makes juggling the stove a lot easier and frees up space for the burner so I can cook something else instead of micromanaging the rice. The cup that comes with the rice cooker is 3/4 the size of a regular cup of rice, but even one cup per person is more than enough. Add the rice, then fill the conveniently marked bowl with water to the amount of the cup you used. For example, put 6 cups of rice and then fill the intestines with water up to the "6” mark. Very easy. You'll need to rinse the rice before firing up the stove to get rid of excess starch, but the process only takes a minute or less and doesn't require any special tools or anything. I just put the rice in, add some water, shake it, carefully drain the water (the water turns milky white), literally rinse and repeat until the water is more or less clear after draining. The rice will be fluffy and sumptuous, and nothing will burn on the bottom of the pan. I've also cooked other dishes in the rice cooker, like beef goulash and chili peppers. Each time I sliced the meat, tossed it, cut the veggies, added water and seasoning, closed the lid and went for the multicooker option. It says it takes 7 hours, but the pot roast (cut into 3-5 inch cubes) only took about 4 hours to cook and the meat just fell apart. SO GOOD! The instructions are simple, and whenever you use this rice cooker, please use a cup for easy measurement. Otherwise it works great, cleans very easily, is easy to use and does what it is supposed to do. You will not be disappointed. Hope this review helps! Also, feel free to ask me a few questions if you have any. I'm not a scientist, but I could help.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • The list will be long.
