The bag has arrived and I have checked it. In general it's good for the price range. I noticed two seams that had seam issues (curves and panels misaligned - most likely they won't fail any sooner than the other seams but seem strong enough for now) and the zipper for the outer pocket popped out. Again nothing special and two minutes of work fixed the zipper. If it were a more expensive backpack I would be dissatisfied with this performance, but then again - in this price range no more. The bag itself is almost perfectly medium in size, the color is a nice ash gray and the layout is functional. This bag is part of a friend's laptop kit, so it contained a lot of tools related to the new IT technology. The internal laptop sleeve actually fits a 15.6-inch laptop (Dell Latitude E6530 in this particular case), but because of the sleeve's shoulders and velcro closures, I wouldn't even try to fit anything more in it. the wrist strap has trouble reaching the laptop. Ultra-wide displays probably won't fit in this thing. The second inner pocket is surprisingly large and the divider is padded, although it's not the thickest or heaviest lining I've seen, so recommend it Be careful with what goes in there as it can dent, crease or crack your laptop if not properly packaged. with notepad, cable pocket and knowledge base. The outer pocket is big enough but not too big to easily hold a pen, pencil, USB flash drives, USB external hard drive and some adapters. The packaging structure allows a reasonable overlap to avoid the zipper, and in combination with with the waterproof material should protect the contents well enough. The side pockets are handy but feel a bit small compared to other laptop backpacks. A 20-ounce water bottle fits snugly when the main compartment is full, although it'll likely stretch a bit over time. The elastic seems to be of decent quality and durable, but I haven't used enough (and won't give it away) to comment on how it will hold up over time. I don't use the USB charging port and headphone jack, but the end user will most likely use them. USB port and cable seem to be of good quality and class. There is a battery compartment and another compartment for headphones or smartphone/iPod. The backpack straps were comfortable enough when I tried on a loaded backpack. Computers aside, it probably won't be a problem to pack enough stuff for a 3 day weekend or maybe a week depending on what you're up to and the layout is good. For the price I think it's a good deal. I use and own SwissGear laptop kits so this will be measured again. I certainly prefer the SwissGear but they are significantly more expensive so my expectations are tempered by the large price difference.

Pros
