TL has been damaged; DR: They work well, but just use a Klean Kanteen straw. PS plastic packaging. This is a medium sized mass produced item, they were packaged in non recyclable plastic. So beware of zero waste. I've only been using them for about a week, but they seem to be working fine. I really like this design and was looking for a cheaper option than the Klean Kanteen straws. I would say just grab a Klean Kanteen straw. It probably wasn't worth the $2-$4 I saved. However, they work well, no complaints. I think the silicone might not last as long as I was hoping, not sure if that's ok. I found some of the silicone pieces to be a bit longer than others and also easier to put on. However, in my opinion, it's not hard to put on, which seems to be a big problem for reviewers.
