This is such a cute tree crown that covers the crown of the tree when it's not perfect. Of course the tree I got had this top spike and to get it to sit I had to stick a few other branches into the bottom of the gnome to fill in the sides. Bag with the hat down. Luckily there is wire inside the hat that you can bend to sit flat (if you want). You can also raise your hands. I decided against it. The head is one piece (meaning the tree spike isn't part of the hat), but the bearded part is like a sock that you can slip over the top of your tree. This gnome will add at least 1 foot in height and make your tree very cute. Since it has no plastic parts, I don't expect it to crack or break (unlike some other treetops I've had). This will be easy to store. Simply flatten and place in a plastic bag until next year.
