This is not a quick read for a rectal.

When switched on the low battery icon appears which is very misleading. With rectal use, which I think should be the most accurate, it takes forever to read and 90% of the time it expires and just shuts down. I will take another thermometer as I am not 100% satisfied. Very disappointing.
