This tablecloth exceeded my expectations. We had a few things that might stain the tablecloth. Everything went off with a shout spray and a gentle wash. It looks just as good 6 months after purchase as the day I received it and it sits on our main kitchen counter every day. However, I will say if you want the creases to separate from the crease on the box, you need to iron them. These wrinkles did not disappear even after several washes and dryers. I just didn't find the time to do it. Didn't realize it was supposed to be airtight but I can say that the other day a cold glass of iced tea fogged up and moisture seeped through the tablecloth and onto the table. But I think it's been sitting there for a while, so as far as leak protection goes, I think it'll work fine if cleaned fairly quickly.
