Review on πŸšͺ Rear Driver Side Power Door Lock Actuators for TOYOTA Camry (2002-2006) & TOYOTA Corolla (2005-2008) - 69060AA040 by Anthony Parker

Have some epoxy on hand.

Cable sleeves do not engage in the lock body. But for 1/10th the OEM price I can live with that. Apply a drop of epoxy to each body of the cable, then go back and finish the install in the morning. On my 2004 Camry, all four locks failed after about 7-8 years. Now, 7-8 years later, the OEM replacement parts are starting to fail again. Toyota clearly has a problem with the lock, so I'm planning on doing an aftermarket one for the next round. Aside from the tether case issue, the lock works perfectly and matches the OEM exactly.

Pros
  • Features: The current is large (=4A), so the motor has a built-in or external PTC. The main function is to protect the motor from burning out when the temperature rises during operation.
Cons
