Not what it claims: Dogs

Like everyone else I was fooled by their marketing. After doing a lot of research on dog food, I found that Royal Canin is like feeding your child lucky charms at every meal. The nutritional value is complete nonsense. If you look at the label, all dog food should always be pure proteins first. Here are the first ingredients of this dog food: Brewer's Rice, Wheat, Chicken By-Products, Chicken Fat, Wheat Gluten, Natural Flavors, Pork Meal, Dried Beet Pulp. I focus on the 3rd ingredient - chicken giblet meal: shredded, rendered, clean parts of the slaughtered chicken carcass, such as necks, drumsticks, immature eggs and entrails, excluding feathers, except for the amounts that may accrue. unavoidable with good handling. Not for my dogs anymore. I will feed my dogs really healthy foods that contain turkey, turkey flour, peas, pea flour and chickpeas.
