The card and drivers are pretty easy to install. When testing the transfer speed through the PCIe x1 slot, I saw 92MB/s. However, files transferred using this USB stick failed the basic test. The card and/or driver could not create exact 1:1 scale copies. Files transferred/copied through the card always had file corruption issues. This was verified by comparing the binaries to the original and copied file. Maybe the problem is in the driver, maybe in the hardware, maybe in both. I am running Windows 7 x64 on a Dell XPS computer. Also, the plastic on the circuit board where the SATA power connector is located was cracked/broken. It didn't stop me from connecting a SATA power supply. I do not recommend this card if it cannot perform the primary function that computer hardware is designed to do: make perfect copies of data accurately and accurately (thus rendering them useless for file backup/archiving).
