Review on DREAM PAIRS 160472 K Silver Football Girls' Shoes by Joey Makarovski

We bought these boots for the spring football season and bought them a little larger so he could wear them during the fall game (he is 4 years old). They fit as expected, no problems whatsoever. They never fell apart which is great. HOWEVER, we noticed a strange smell coming from his football bag. We have 6 dogs and at first we thought one of our dogs was peeing on her bag (BIG NOTE: Our dogs DO NOT pee in the house or on things in the house). So we washed the bag. Did NOTHING helped. His ENTIRE room started to smell of it. Yesterday we had an early game and the grass was still pretty wet. When we got home I planted them in our freezer right outside the back door. It wasn't until I opened the back door and was slapped by THAT smell that I realized it was coming from THESE boots! Now I know that after two seasons of football and sweat everyone will say it's no wonder they stink. NO guys. THAT'S NOT NORMAL! I have two adult children who played soccer at school from 3rd to 12th grade, went through a lot of soccer shoes and KNOW what sweaty smelly soccer shoes smell like. It is different! Even my husband agrees. I don't know if it's because the leather on the boot got wet from the dampness of the grass or something. But it's TERRIBLE! If it wasn't for the smell I would have given 5 stars.
