The shape does not match most auto lenses and will not stay.

Terrible design. The shape of these curtains doesn't match any car window I've ever been in. They're square instead of oblong or rectangular like most car windows so you have to choose which part of the window you want to drive one of the tiny smart cars, it'll only cover half of the window you put it on, they're pretty small. The ones for side windows seemed to hold up adequately, but since they're attached with suction cups, you can't fold the window down when you need it, like going to an ATM, walking through a restaurant window, or paying your fare at a tollbooth. You have to remove the suction cups and curtain to lower the window which is not very difficult but the problem is that after removing the suction cups you have to rub the back of the suction cups in the window with isopropyl alcohol before they get stuck again, and most people don't drive with alcohol in their cars. I will definitely get a rolled up version similar to the pull down house curtains. The curtain for the rear window will definitely not stay. I washed this window as thoroughly as the rest and as it warmed up in the sun the suction cups dislodged, curled up and it came loose, defeating the whole point of having a curtain on the rear window to keep out the sun Out. The suction cups are very flimsy and clearly of poor quality, so I'm not surprised they don't stay in the heat. I guess for $9 they won't be of high quality but at least I expected them to stay. The sun beats down on them as that is the sole purpose of their existence. The fact that the sun causes the suction cups to curl up and then unravel makes this product unusable. This is fine if you have a car where you don't plan to roll down the windows and you don't mind the entire window being open or even more than half of each window, but if you really want to block out some sun , because now you ride, and to stay warm, choose a higher quality product. This is clearly the case when you get less than you pay for.

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
