These lamps are sold 2-3 times more expensive in many retail stores. There is a very good selection of globes with many different color variations. I read the mostly good reviews and found out that the item was shipped from Turkey so I was a bit concerned that shipping to Hawaii would take a long time. Another problem was that the electrical plug was made abroad but came with a standard American adapter. To my surprise, the lamp was delivered to me via DHL in just over a week (which is amazing for Hawaii). The packaging was in a right sized box with good bubble wrap protection. The glass ball was completely wrapped in bubble wrap. I also found that the bulb had arrived, and what pleased me the most was that the plug was a US standard two-pronged plug, not the foreign type I was expecting. The lamp uses a smaller E13 bulb, but I already had one ready. Make sure you have the daylight LED version as it glows bright white. The switch is about 1/4 down the cord and is easy to toggle on and off. My experience with this order and product quality are very good.
