When I bought it I was under the impression that the shiny parts are made up, but no - the shiny parts are covered in glitter and the coverage is very uneven; Some parts have been omitted and stand out because they have no luster at all, others have so much luster that it flakes off when the box is touched. If you don't mind glitter going everywhere, I recommend these garter belts because they look great from afar. But because they're cheap, covered in glitter, and poorly finished, they don't look good up close.
