Despite the name "Snow" the thread is actually black and takes a little getting used to. The advantage of the black floss is that you can see it clearly while using it, while I lost sight of the white floss at times when it was on my teeth (white on white is hard to see). Secondly, this dental floss glides comfortably between narrow tooth gaps and does not irritate the gums. It is very difficult for me to find such a comfortable yarn, so I was pleasantly surprised - many of the threads that turned out to be environmentally friendly disappointed me because they were too thick and hurt my teeth. This one is just as good as the Glide which is great. I also love that the company is donating profits from this thread to help those who cannot afford good dental care. The packaging was a bit difficult to open at first. I pulled on the thread to make it longer but it didn't move so I opened the case and managed to pull the thread out. I used a shortened thread before repairing the case, but everything was fine after that. The thread has a subtle mint flavor. Does he bleach? I haven't noticed a huge difference, but the fact that I can comfortably use it on all my teeth and gums is a huge plus for me. The costs are a bit outrageous. For the same price I could get several packs of Glides that I use all the time. If not for this price, I would commend this thread.
