Review on Optimized Central Pneumatic Crown Stapler with Gauge by Bernard Her

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great stapler! Better than an electric stapler!

Well I had a very different experience. I stapled sheets of thick radiation barrier to the rafters of a Texas attic. I bought and used electric staplers for this job. I've gone through two. They burned out and stopped working. I ran maybe 4,000 staples through them. They jammed a lot, and the height of these staplers was great! The height was important because the slope of the roof prevented me from tacking too close to the top of the rafter bay. Okay, now let's move on to this stapler. I stopped at a friend's house and told him I was going to set up a radiant barrier at his house. I tried the stapler he had, which was a small electric gun. Immediate failure! I didn't have the strength to push the staples into the plywood. Then he said he had this blockage. Central pneumatic stapler with wide crown 20 gauge. Although the stapler mechanism that held the staples came off a couple of times, the way I held the stapler was my fault! When my hand was free from its end there was never a problem. I installed 21 7 foot panels of radiation barrier (that's 147 linear feet) with a gun and used about 5000 staples. I put a lot of staples in the leaves. The stapler worked great and I'm going to buy one! He was light, his size was small. I liked it! Before using the machine for the first time and after every hour of operation, please be sure to put a few drops of the supplied machine oil in the air inlet. The air compressor used was a very small portable one. We set the pressure to 90#. I have used T50 1/4" staples and ga.crown 20 staples. Both have worked great. Can't say enough about this stapler.
