Accurate and pleasant to use

Usage This program is intuitive to use. It comes with the correct instructions but if lost I doubt either owner will be unable to work with this device. I will also add that it is a pleasure to use. I "stubbornly argued with myself" about how far away the objects were. I then filmed it, measured the distance with it, and then moved it back to see if I or the device was closer. Wellray has won or drawn every time. An application problem that is not specific to this device but is common to it and binoculars or telescopes is stability. The maximum distance I tried was a deer standing on a shot but didn't measure 350 yards from hill to hill. Even leaning against a tree I found it impossible to keep my sights on the deer and instead I decided to shoot up the hill behind the deer or in other cases at other large nearby targets that were close enough. Our landscape is teeming with wildlife such as deer (white-tailed deer, axis deer), wild boar, armadillo, raccoon, rabbit, etc. I am 100% sure that this device will come in handy to measure the distance to any of these animals on an animal or a Aim nearby object. I used the device in conditions ranging from bright sunlight to dawn. Ambient light conditions did not appear to affect the use or accuracy of the device. Accuracy I took several readings up to 157 yards using the setback method for longer and more familiar distances like yards between buildings in our area. I have never measured more than 2% error. IMO the accuracy standard for such devices is 5%, so the accuracy of this device is within the margin of error. straight wellray, so the distance measurement is not only accurate, but also comfortable. It also made me think of hunters telling me they were killing deer at half a mile after seeing deer that looked the size of young squirrels nearly 1,300 feet away. I found this device to be accurate at all measured or known distances, while the unmeasured distances found by this device appeared to be significantly in error. After all, it does what it promises to be easy to use.
