I bought these as accent lights and didn't need all 25 but they were so cheap I bought them anyway. , or automatic light detection systems, but once I have these bulbs I put them in lights and they are perfect for my purpose. I leave them on all the time, but who cares, they're 1 watt. Leaving them costs less than a dollar a year. They are bright enough to find the keys and open the door, creating a comfortable atmosphere. They have the same base as a regular lamp, so they can be used anywhere.
