Review on 🔥 Sabrent M.2 2280 SSD Rocket Cooler Heatsink (SB-HTSK) by Brandi Stone

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great little heat pipe heatsink

Pros:++ The packaging was excellent. (Everything is firmly fixed in the foam.) ++ Processing of the heat sink. (Nothing looked cheap or felt cheap.) ++ Temperature dropped from 75°C to around 55°C ++ Easy assembly and installation ++ No real installation problems Cons: - The supplied screw is too long. (The SSD with heatsink was loose after installation.) - May interfere with your motherboard depending on the type of motherboard and your drive. - Overall: Everything was well packaged and the build quality is really good. Scope of delivery: 1 base plate with thermal pad, 1 top plate, heat sink with thermal pad, 4 heat sink screws, 1 M.2 fastening screw, 1 additional thermal pad for single-sided drives, 1 screwdriver, 1 instruction booklet. showed 10,900 points before and more than 14,000 after installation simply due to the lower temperature! The SSD and heatsink combo was easy to install and even comes with an extra thermal pad for single-sided M.2 SSDs like mine. (This means there may still be a gap when the heatsink is installed around the drive. The extra thermal pad fills that gap, allowing full contact to be made. If you have a double-sided drive, you don't need the extra pad .) PLEASE READ - Things you need to know and buy with this heatsink: 1.) As mentioned above, the included M.2 mounting screw is too long. After installation, the disc became very loose. (I fixed this by installing a small silicon disc I made from a spare part lying around to even out play.) Just type "M.2 mounting kit" into Revain's search bar and it will Various plastic kits are shown to you. washers. You only need one or two washers, so just order the cheapest set and problem solved. ($5.00) 2.) Remember that the heatsink can interfere with your MoBo's surface mount components. I did some test fitting and noticed that the bottom of the heatsink showed very faint traces of the resistor it barely touched. (I fixed this temporarily by putting some tape on the mobo above the resistor to prevent a possible short circuit, but I don't recommend this for the long term.) Just type "Kapton Tape" into the Revain search bar on. Kapton Tape is high temperature resistant, electrically insulating and used throughout the technology industry. Over time, it will withstand the heat. (also $5.00). Apart from that, I hope these two important pieces of information will help you. I really like this Sabrent radiator and am happy with it. Just buy Kapton tape and an M.2 mounting kit with washers and you're done.
