Review on Anet ET4 Pro 3D Printer by Chris Peck

RIP - Stopped working after 2 weeks, then started and then died completely.

Installation is not too difficult if you have some assembly experience. The instructions were pretty useless so I recommend finding assembly videos on YouTube. However, don't be discouraged by this Anet ET4x printer. At the time of purchase, the price was $189. Pretty good price. This is a great entry-level 3D printer that my 4th grade daughter and I are very happy with. After assembling it and aligning the platform/table with the printhead, you can load some files and start printing. I recommend going to Thingiverse.com and looking for models to download and print. If I had to start over and do it all over again I would probably go back to this Anet ET4X. I love it and it seems like it's pretty easy to use once you put it together. Enjoy. Now I'm going to print Baby Yoda! Update 04/25/20: Printer prints great! It took me a little time to figure out the best general purpose settings for PLA filament. For normal printing I use a layer height of 0.1mm (sometimes 0.2 for faster printing), a print speed of 70mm/s, a filament temperature of 210°C and a bed temperature of 70°C. I'm new to this so I'm still learning and tweaking the settings. But so far the printer exceeds my expectations and is accurate. Just make sure you use the slicer software that lists this printer. The Cura 14.07 software that came with the printer works great. I tried a newer version of Cura and it didn't have Anet ET4X, so it didn't work properly. Update 5/3/20: So everything was running smoothly until the hotend stopped heating. It warmed up and started typing as usual, but about an hour into printing, the hotend turned itself off. The extruder feeder started grinding the filament because the hot end didn't melt the filament. It looks like another reviewer had a similar issue with the hotend failing. I tried adjusting the temperature on the touchscreen but it didn't respond and the setting just stayed at 0°. That's a bummer. I really liked this car. I will have to return it.
