Nice design but doesn't work as advertised

Monoprice makes excellent cables. However, I ordered two and neither of them worked for my 3070-E9 OLED. None of the cables could reach more resolution than 1080p at 120Hz. I gave two stars because the materials and construction of the cable were good. My conclusion is that either two defective cables were sent or the product was not extensively tested on everything advertised in the HDMI 2.1 specification. If you are wondering what I bought and what worked for me is RUIPRO 8K HDMI 40ft HDMI 2.1 48Gbps fiber optic cable. In my opinion Ruipro is an ugly cable but it did the job. Finally it is what I needed.
