This isn't silk, it's polyester or acetate. Tried to use for natural coloring. Use twice as much dye as needed. took none of it. I did a burning test - with silk, the flame goes out by itself, the fibers turn into very soft ash and smell like burnt hair. This one, as seen in the photos, turned into a hard plastic when burned (you can see it glittering in the light); the flame did not go out, but immediately caught fire - all aspects of polyester and acetate. The worst thing is that the label says 100% silk. That's a complete lie.
