Exactly what I was looking for!
After researching intermediate bulbs for my ceiling fan and realizing they cost $6.00 each, I started looking for alternatives. I found these adapters and realized this is the answer. Now I can use regular bulbs for 1.00 each instead of paying for special ones. I am very happy!
