I love the way these do NOT have any buckles or " hook " fasteners ( I can never hook those on, I'll never buy a hook closure again ) They are just elastic across the top, once I get my foot in, they are SO comfortable. The suede soles are perfect for dancing. These do not look like cheap shoes, but the price is very inexpensive. They are satin fabric, that I don't expect to wear as well as leather. The " nude" color actually looks like a Rose Gold. I have had many compliments, and questions as to where I found them. I bought a pair in black also, I'm thinking of burying a 3rd pair in case they stop making them, so I'll have a spare pair. ( Update, I just bought another pair, because I'm afraid they will stop making them. I have a huge plastic bin full of dance shoes I've collected over the years, now the only ones I'm wearing are these, I LOVE them ! ) I ordered my street shoe size, and it is perfect, snug and secure.
