Review on πŸ”Œ NetDot Magnetic Charging Cable, Gen10 Nylon Braided Magnetic Phone Charger for USB-C and Micro USB Devices and Phones (1ft/3 Pack, Red) by Kyle Hood

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Given the cost, I'm happy.

The magnets are pretty strong. The cord and insert have magnets, this can cause problems if you throw the phone in a garbage bag. Mine is always in my bag, on my desk or in my car so I won't have any problems. The cable is nice and flexible. Fast charging my Moto G6. Doesn't protrude too far from the phone jack. Build quality is ok, nothing special. I bought this because my charging socket was having some issues, seems to have helped for now but I'm sure it will eventually fail. Update: Depending on your daily life, you will have more or less problems with magnets picking up iron dust and small sand-sized pieces. I used to be a carpenter and sometimes still am. I also work in a steel mill. I'm having a lot of trouble getting the magnetic clutch clean enough for the connector to engage. I use compressed air to blow them out every other day. I'm very surprised how much iron you put in your car, if you let the cord touch the ground it's an instant clean. I still really like these, they just seem to be contaminated with iron particles. I've found that you can clean the magnetic clutches fairly easily with some stupid putty :)
