Review on Titan Gray Samsung BAR Plus 256GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive (MUF-256BE4/AM) with Up to 400MB/s Transfer Speed by Adam EK ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with everything, both price and quality, I advise you to buy.

It met my requirements for a large, small, and dependable storage medium, therefore I went with it instead of an HDD. I'd like a cap to keep the connector safe when transporting it. I have no clue why the flash drive enters read-only mode out of the blue (though the computer going to sleep might be a contributing factor). Is this some kind of nonsense only I've encountered? I use the USB flash drive with the UTTER MOST CAUTION (I remove it and replace it with care, I turn it off properly, etc.). ate: I am satisfied with the flash drive's continued functionality and condition. drops off every so often, becoming a state of defensiveness. I get that the flash drive controller is trying to keep me from accidentally erasing my files. But I don't know why she acts that way or what triggers her reaction. This occurs frequently on one computer (USB 2.0) and rarely on another (USB 3.0). The pattern is still eluding me. The issue is fixed by disconnecting for 10 seconds and then reconnecting.

Pros
  • Very small and sleek looking for a storage capacity of 256 GB. Doesn't become hot, contrary to what some other users have claimed. The speed is acceptable on USB 2.0 and quite good on USB 3.0. I'm still crossing my fingers that it's trustworthy.
Cons
  • The flash drive randomly enters protective mode (read-only) at random intervals. Since the last "entry" of the flash drive into the read-only mode, I have been unable to show any data from it.
