A few tips for assembling this table: 1) Start early in the morning because you have a few hours to think about it take, it will not be enough. 2) Find a place twice the size of the table, in a place with good lighting, since you will have to turn it more than once and put it in an awkward position. Places and positions to build it. 3) Eat breakfast beforehand because if you try to quit before it's done, you'll probably be just as exhausted and frustrated as I am. 4) Have a tool box handy because for all the possibilities in the kit they say everything is included, in fact it isn't. 5) Make sure you buy it at the lowest price because if you come back after everything is set and see this table, nowhere near as advertised, it's $30 less than you paid, and you won't love it anymore. might be an understatement. In case you didn't get it from the previous build, it took way longer than it should have based on the reviews I read. At least all components were supplied and the frame was the easiest to assemble. The instructions were relatively clear and I was left with extra screws. But the last two steps took almost as much time as assembling the entire frame. As a result, the details of the desktop did not perfectly match the corresponding screw holes or even the finished surface. Only a smaller part of the table was screwed on, as it should be. The longer section didn't match the last screw at all, not even close. After almost two hours I had to be content with screwing in three of the four screws. What about the corner piece? A screw keeps it in place. The instructions suggest that it must be provided with four. No, a screw. Only two holes were even on the right side, and one was far from the intended pairing. To make matters worse, the side table has an open groove on one side of the corner piece, doesn't lie flat on the other side, and doesn't look like it's been cast when finished. And I don't even get to the utterly frustrating last step. I want to give back this hour of my life. Whoever designed this frame also chose to make pushing screws through the holes almost impossible. It took several minutes for the small screws to pop out through the poorly drilled holes and hit the holes in the table. Therefore you need a lot of light in the room, or a headlamp that you would use on your hikes. I often wanted to quit. Then, once you aligned them, the position of the screws made it impossible to fasten them in one smooth motion. Again, it takes hours to turn screws. It doesn't even explain why the top pieces of the "puzzle piece" frame don't mesh well. To put them together I needed a hammer to knock off a few flakes of cheap black paint that were covering the metal. All I can say is I'd better be using this table for ten years or more considering what a nightmare it is. was to assemble. I bought this to replace a smaller table that was perfectly designed compared to this one. I assembled most of the furniture in my house and none of it wanted to leave me during construction. It's currently selling for just over $100, probably due to customers like me. If it's over $125, skip it. Use the money you save to hire someone to assemble it for you. This is the only way to look at this table and not be outraged for life.
