Review on πŸƒ Saucony Peregrine 11 ST Trail Running Shoe for Men by Jason Paige

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Why the constant magnitude of such a problem?

I "usually" wear men's size 11 with a medium width for almost all luxury shoe brands. What I don't understand is why it is so difficult for manufacturers to put the correct size label on their products. These Saucony Trail shoes are a perfect example of this problem. I was able to try on this particular size 11 shoe at my local shoe store and found that it was a bit narrow in length, which I know would pose a problem if my feet swell from a typical 7 mile run. at my favorite trail park. As a size 11.5 was out of stock I wasn't able to try it on but figured a half size up would allow enough room for buckles but wouldn't loosen them significantly. I have no problem buying a larger size with tags and like most people I'm only interested in a good fit. Note that I noticed the same for the Salomon Speedcross 5. Reviews show they run small and slim. So I order a size 11.5 medium width from Saucony on Revain and they are a whole size bigger and fit right in my Nike 12 size which I bought to wear while two broken fingers heal. I like the traction that the outsole tread pattern provides. - They're perfect for the type of terrain in my area - and the arch support is better than the Salomon Speedcross 5s I've worn. I can't talk about life yet, which is one of the main reasons I switched from Salomon (instead of finding a good arch insole). But what's the problem with quality control and sizing?! That's easy. Set your sizing options, make your shoes, measure them and label them accordingly! Don't force potential buyers of potential performance/competition athletic shoes to try on half a dozen pairs of size 11s to get a pair of shoes from different boxes that will match.
