Review on Waterproof Fitted Cot Mattress Protector Cover - Guardmax, Noiseless & Healthy for Camping Cot (33 x 75) by Stephanie Hammons

This is a high quality waterproof mattress pad. I use it as an alternative to those zippered vinyl mattress covers that have a strong odor, almost like shower curtain liner material. These other zipper styles are good for protection but can be very difficult to pull over a large mattress like a pillowcase and when I have used these other types I have basically worn them once and left them there and not washed them. These other guys always require extra padding in my opinion because of noise, smell, heat build up and just because I find them uncomfortable without extra padding. Now about this Guardmax protector: It's much easier to put on - it's laid on the mattress like a sheet, the pockets are nice and deep, and it's soft, doesn't crackle when you move it, and doesn't make any noise. It has a strong odor like other types of vinyl floors. Although personally I still prefer to put a soft case on this product; This Guardmax can definitely be used alone. It's a soft, cloth-like quality material that doesn't have the harsh odor of vinyl. This is a quality product and I recommend it. In the last 4 years I have bought 3 of these to protect 3 different mattresses. Full size and 2 queens.
