I bought a queen sofa bed. It fits perfectly! It is very soft and has a plastic insert. If you lie on it, you don't hear it. Because of the plastic, I would wash in cold/warm water and hang dry. There is no waterproof fabric other than plastic, and you cannot dry plastic if you expect it to melt. Excellent purchase.

Fits IKEA Vallentuna Bed. This item is slightly smaller than Vallentuna's measurements, but it works perfectly, nowhere too tight or loose. The water resistance has not been tested. Definitely feels plasticky, but I draped a soft, fitted jersey bed sheet over it and you can't hear or feel it underneath.

Planted a mine on an air mattress in one of my guest rooms upstairs. The quilted style used to be used, but it kept fraying and "hopping" off the corners! This problem has been fixed with this profile, it has a lot of overlap! It goes down and jumps into the bottom edge of the pillow! This is a high quality waterproof mattress pad. I use it as an alternative to those zippered vinyl mattress covers that have a strong odor, almost like shower curtain liner material. These other zipper styles are good for protection but can be very difficult to pull over a large mattress like a pillowcase and when I have used these other types I have basically worn them once and left them there and not washed them.
