I have only given a few ratings. All this time! I received my bandage and put it on immediately. I love that it covers the entire lens on one side and expands to cover the side to block peripheral vision! A bandage that only covers the lens but not lateral and peripheral vision would be useless to me. This patch is amazing and so soft! I will buy more! Problem with my eye: Three months after my kidney transplant in 2016, I had a complete retinal detachment and a complete retinal tear in my left eye. So I wasn't a candidate for bladder surgery, which can sometimes save my eyesight. Instead I had surgery where they filled my eye with oil. I haven't regained my sight, it's just that everything in that eye was blurry. Within two years I developed a complete cataract in the same eye. This happens when they need to fill the eye with oil. I am about to have cataract surgery. Since then, this eye patch has changed my life! I wish I had looked at the eye patches from the last three years more! After my retinal surgery, I not only have cataracts, but also several painful cysts in my left eye. I've tried several eye patches. the one you tape to the eye and the commonly used pirate patch. None of them worked for me and the pirate gave me a terrible headache because of the headband. Not good for those who already have a headache! I believe other serious post-transplant health complications prevented me from concentrating on my eye. My immune system is so weak that I regularly get infections that often become septic and life-threatening. . Trying to find a solution to help with the horrible pain and sensitivity in my left eye if I just open up every day has definitely taken a back seat. To understand how this has changed my life in such a short time, I have to explain that my eye hurts so much every day no matter how hard I tried to do something. It was painful for me to watch TV and I definitely had a lot of trouble seeing my phone screen. it also caused problems with my good eye like double vision. I just got over the pain. I live on the water in an apartment in Panama City Beach. or we have some of the most beautiful white sandy beaches. I am so proud that I bought our little house as a single mother with a disability. Before all the eye problems, I was able to watch dolphins swimming, hunting and playing in my backyard! Pelicans are perhaps the most fun! I took so many photos and really got into photography. It all stopped when my eye became too sensitive to light and the terrible pain in my eyes only got worse! So I've been sitting on my couch with the dark curtains closed for two years. The living room was so dark. open the curtains. Curtain up today! When I put a bandage around my glasses (I have them in black) I immediately noticed a huge difference! And as the hours went by, I noticed that I had almost no pain in that eye! It used to get very dry and I've spent tons of money on eye drops and haven't had to use eye drops yet! My son loved it and wanted to see if it would open the curtains too far. It wasn't like that! I think if I get my cataract surgery after the coronavirus shutdown, this eye patch will be perfect even after the surgery! As I write this I was just watching the dolphins swim by! Now I can see the sunrise and not just the sunset! If you are having trouble with a sensitive or sore eye or anything like that, I hope you give this eye patch a try! And I hope it can change your life as much as mine!
