I ordered these cloths to use on camera lenses and glasses when they get too dirty for a regular cleaning cloth. They differ from conventional wet wipes in that there is a wet side and a dry side. You use the wet side first and then use the dry side to remove residue. They're not as wet as wet wipes, but they dry out a little quicker as a result. I found I had enough work time to clean a couple of camera lenses as well as my glasses. My glasses were much worse - I was able to clean a dozen lenses in the time it took them. My glasses tend to collect oil from my skin that is usually very difficult to remove with regular lens wipes. This cloth removed almost everything at once which is amazing to me. At first I was a bit skeptical, because wet wipes (including those for the optics) leave marks, so you always have to wipe them with a dry cloth. With them, the wet side left a mark, but the dry side removed it completely, leaving the optics clean and streak-free. 200 wipes for $15 (current price on Amazon) isn't bad for something like this, but be aware they only have a 2 year shelf life. Given how well they worked with my glasses, I'll end up using them a lot more than just camera gear. Highly recommended!
